Bowl Cozy
Perfect for heating soup, chili, etc. in the microwave as it will prevent burns when taking it back out as well as keep your food warm for a longer period of time. They come together quickly and make excellent gifts! They are also excellent stashbusters.

About the event
The cost of the class includes 1 spool of 100% cotton thread (in grey or beige) and 3 pieces of precut batting that are also 100% cotton. We will use two pieces in class to make the cozy and the third you will bring home as it will serve as a template to make more.
You will need to either bring (2 )10 1/2” squares of fabric, for the outside and lining OR 2 1/2” strips that can be sewn and trimmed to 10 1/2” squares. Be sure that the all of the fabric is also 100% cotton with no metallics as these will be used in the microwave.
