Bucket Brigade - Sew Its Sunday

In this class we will be using the Bucket Brigade pattern from Atkinsons Designs.  The pattern comes with instructions for 4 different sizes, we will be making the medium (10' w x 9" h).  If you have not already done so, this is an opportunity to work with Stiff Stuff and Plastic tubing.  Both are used to provide structure and the final product is nice and sturdy.  

The cost of the class is $30 and the pattern is an additional $8.  You will have the option of purchasing a kit that contains Stiff Stuff, Plastic tubing and Fusible interfacing.  If you are interested in purchasing fabric combinations as well, please let me know when you register and I can offer options.

Fabric you will need:

3/4 yard for the main fabric and 3/4 yard for the contrasting fabric.  optional accent prints:  1 - 2 fat eighths

If you would like to bring all of your own materials you will need:

1 1/4 yard Stiff Stuff (20" wide)

1 yard of 1/4" plastic tubing

1 yard fusible woven interfacing (20" wide)

Additionally you will need:

Rotary cutter, ruler, sewing machine with 1/4" foot AND a walking foot, matching thread for top stitching (matching the material you are using for the interior of the bucket), chalk or other marking pen.
