Easy Does It Bag by Annie

This finished size of this bag is 6"H x 9"W x 4 1/4"D. The larger size panels are a great way to show off a focus prints (as shown in the pic from by Annie), but look nice with any print. We will insert a zipper, make handles and prepare/use bias binding for the finishing.

You will need:

A sewing machine with a 1/4" foot

A walking foot and a zipper foot are also very helpful

Rotary cutter

Ruler

Clips/pins

A stiletto if you have one (Not necessary)

Matching Thread for topstitching

Prequilted main and lining fabrics - these will be quilted on the longarm

By Annies Soft and Stable (used for quilting, makes for a sturdy bag)

Coordinating fabric for handles and binding

Cost - $24.00 + sales tax $1.52 = 25.52

If you would like enough to make two bags, one in the class and another to make at home, the cost is $42.00 + sales tax $2.67 = $44.67

If you are bringing your own fabrics you will need:

3 fat quarters (main, lining and coordinating fabric)

By Annie's soft and stable

Fusible interfacing (8x6)

By Annie handbag zipper 24" single slide for one bag or 30" double slide if you wish to have extra to make a second bag with additional fabric.

If you are bringing your own fabrics, please prequilt the bag body/lining fabric using the soft and stable. You may also use bosal but please do not use batting as the bag will be too soft and will not stand up well.
