Eclectica Set Spinning Quilt - 2 day class
This throw size quilt is made with just 10” squares and background fabric. It is a great class for all levels and a good opportunity to learn how to piece with partial seams, sew rows on the diagonal and work on color/pattern placement. Class 2 on May 20th

About the event
In class we will explore fabric options for finishing such as separating fabrics by low, mid, high volume, color, pattern size, ombre, etc. The finished quilt size is 56" x 69 1/2"
The photo depicts the Eclectic fabric line from QT fabrics but you can choose any fabric line and any background from light to dark. If you need help with fabric choices please contact me and I can help you choose the combination based upon the look you want.
You will need the following:
36 - 10" squares (if you purchase a layer cake/package of squares please bring them all so we can choose in class)
3 yards background fabric (I have black/white/cream/grey available for sale here in the studio)
5/8 yard binding
Sewing machine with a 1/4" foot (you may rent one as well)
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Ruler
Marking pen
Pens or clips
In our first class we will focus on fabric, cutting and piecing. In our second class on May 6th we will piece the blocks on the diagonal.
