Gift/Small Project Day

There will be demos throughout the day with plenty of time in between for you to make some or many of the projects. The silicone trivet can be made with or without a hand opening and is heat resistant up to 450 degrees. The octagonal coasters can be made from 5" squares. The mug rugs can be made with scraps of any size, preferably smaller strips, and is a quilt as you go project. I have plenty of batting scraps. The Christmas ornament requires two 8 1/2" - 9" squares. The potholders really should be made with Insulbright or another insulated batting. If you have some, bring it, if not I have 1 yard packages you can purchase when you purchase your ticket.

You will need to bring:

• A sewing machine in good working order
• A walking foot
• An all purpose foot for zigzag stitches.
• A 1/4" quilting foot
• Fabric scraps of various sizes and colors - all of these projects are on the smaller size
• Zippers of various sizes (6" - 12")
• Thread for topstitching
• Rulers - smaller if you have them
• Stripology squared (if you have it)
• Rotary cutter
