This is a great little bag that can be made in a short amount of time. It’s a good introduction to zippers and they make excellent gifts. Embellish with buttons, ribbon, etc.

About the event
In this class we will be making these cute little zippered bags that measure 6" x 8" when finished. Once you make one you will want to make more. I will have examples of modifications and embellishment available in the studio.
If you are taking the class in person, the cost of the class includes the pattern, fusible fleece and lightweight interfacing. You will need to bring 2 fat quarters (one for the main and one for the lining) and a 12" nylon zipper. You may also bring renaissance ribbons, buttons or other adornments.
If you have a zipper foot, please bring it. You will also need thread that matches your main fabric for topstitching. You will also need a rotary cutter, ruler and marking pen.
Please feel free to bring snacks/water. I will have snacks available as well.
If you are taking the class online you will need to purchase the pattern, fleece and lining in addition to the other items noted above.
